Wish happiness


While I am not a fan of the word ‘lifehack’ I do believe some practices actually have a positive impact on our personal well-being (aka. happiness). For example, meditation has a lot of proven benefits if done regularly over a longer period. Also just consciously breathing for a couple of cycles can slow down your heart rate and relax you in stressful moments.

Meng (previous Google ‘Jolly Good Fellow”) explained another quite simple method to spread happiness. All you have to do is think about two persons and wish them happiness. You don’t even have to talk to them, just picture them and think to yourself “I wish you happiness.” Repeat that every hour during your work day.

I know it sounds very,…um…, kumbaya-hippy-ish, but it works. It’s quite difficult to feel bad after you spend your day wishing happiness to others.
