Subject: 6 tips to send better email
To: Arkvard Venderson [Name changed] <randomgmailaddress5$2356@gmail.com>

Dear Arkvard,

See my response as my today’s random act of kindness and please don’t be offended. I mean well.

You must know, I get 10-30 emails like yours per day.

I could create a canned email to answer such emails, but I’d like to put in the effort and write this email just for you. An effort how I’d like to see from people who want to offer their services to me.

Let’s see.

(1) You mention that my website has some technical issues. Had you named just one, you would already be above 99% of all the other “SEO consultants” out there.

(2) I am sorry, but a quick grammar check (e.g. with Grammarly) would help to avoid some of the grammar blunders in your email. (some of the technical factors, online (not on line), something is not lacking behind but performing behind the competition, backlinks is one word, etc.

(3) How about you give a small glimpse into how a “proper off page” campaign (another odd phrase) looks like. Again your ultimate chance to beat 99% of your colleagues.

(4) And then at the end, after all this, you don’t want me to simply reply to your email. No, I have to use one of three proposed subject lines, so you know what I think without having to read my response. Thus, I have to assume working with you means that I’ll have to put in the bigger share of work.

(5)  “give me the best time to make further discussion” what do you want to say with that? What do you need to decide, whether you switch occupations, mow your lawn, take me on as a client? I am confused and when I am confused I am empirically not the most proactive decision maker.

6) Your email address also says the following: a) you don’t have a domain of your own and b) you haven’t gotten very far with your business efforts. Otherwise, you would have invested in a professional email address. (You were 18 when you got your email address, which may have been quite recently.) All these, of course, may be wrong, but without proof of the contrary, I have to hold them as truths. You may consider getting a better email address.

In summary, I am “not interested“, but I wish you best of luck in your future endeavours.

Hello Randomwebsite.com Team,

Hope you are doing great.

This is in follow-up to my previous email.

I was wondering if you feel like you could use a bit more on line promotion to maximize your website’s exposure and create huge traffic. Last time while visiting your website I found some of the technical factor which need to be improved in your website and for this reason your website is lacking behind your competitor and not in top of any search engine.

Please answer to our email with “Interested to know more” “contact later” or “not interested” so that we will know the status of your inquiry and act accordingly.

Let me know your thought and if possible give me the best time to make further discussion.

Regards,
